Conference Photography & Media Notice

Conference workshops, presentations, social events, and other Deaf Seniors of America (DSA) activities are considered public events. Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the conference and used by DSA for promotional, educational, and informational purposes, including publications, websites, newsletters, social media, and future conference materials.

By registering for and attending the conference, you consent to the use of your image and likeness without compensation and waive any claim related to such use.

  • LGBTQ+ Social Hour – Connect with LGBTQ+ attendees and allies in a relaxed, late-night social setting.

  • DeafBlind Social Hour – Connect with DeafBlind attendees and allies in a relaxed, accessible social setting.

We are looking for engaging presenters to cover topics that impact our daily lives—from health and wellness, retirement and financial planning, and smart technology to Deaf history, advocacy, and peer support.

DSA 2027 Pickleball Save the Date

DSA 2027 Agenda at a Glance

DSA 2027 Conference Agenda

The 19th Biennial DSA Conference scheduled for August 19–26, 2027 at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel outlines a week full of networking, learning, and gathering events.

Important Notes:
 

  • The conference schedule is updated as of October 2, 2026, and is subject to change.

  • Future changes will be posted to the conference website and shared via DSA 2027 Conference Updates.

  • Events marked with an asterisk on the full agenda are included with Combo Registration.

Agenda Highlights:
 

  • Pre-Conference Activities: Hotel check-ins starting August 19, pre-conference tours, exhibitor setup, a Leadership Roundtable Summit, and a two-day Pickleball Tournament in Pikesville, MD.

  • Opening Day (August 22): Registration and Exhibit Hall, DSA Board Meeting, a First Timers Meet & Greet, and the official Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception.

  • Conference Program (August 23–25): Daily keynote and plenary presentations, interactive workshops, Memory Cafe dialogues, brain health activities, evening socials, and a dedicated AgeTech Forum in partnership with TDIforAccess.

  • Closing Events (August 26): General business meeting and elections, followed by the Gala/Farewell Luncheon, a Volunteer Appreciation Reception, and a Farewell Social Gathering.
